I would suggest starting the module with information you state saying "The Nitrogen Family is group 15...." and then have the image of the periodic table

You have very nice and neat images. I agree with Parisa. Start with an introduction instead of pictures. Even though we know we are reading about the nitrogen family, it is natural to read the text and refer to the picture. It disturbs the flow to scroll down, read the text, and must scroll back up to refer to the images.

Group 15 in the periodic table refers to the Nitrogen family. Each element in the family has a ns^2np^3 electron configuration.  Nitrogen makes up 78% of the Earth’s atmosphere.  It can also be found on Mars and Venus. Bismuth is a poor metal which is comparable to Antimony and Arsenic, both of which are metalloids.

    2.       No, I think more information regarding each element and their applications is needed. Also,  there should be more information about the overall trends and properties of the groups.

    3.       Figure  Questions:

    1.       Yes,

    2.       Only for the N2 triple bond figure.

    3.       No

    4.       The figure of Phosphorus could be better explained, and be more clearly connected to the given information.

    5.       I figure illustrating the Haber-Bosch would be helpful. Also, pictures of red and white Phosphorus would be nice.

      Table Questions:

    1.       Yes

    2.       No

    3.       No

    4.       I think the table was the best way to display the given information

    5.       I don’t think additional tables are needed, but it would be beneficial if the table was expanded to include other information such as density, atomic number, etc.

    Text Questions:

    1.       Yes.  The information is well organized and easy to follow.

    2.       Yes. Each paragraph has a clear topic.

    3.       None.

    4.       The module was logically organized.
