CHE 4A is the "for majors" version of General Chemistry. It covers the same material as CHE 2A but in more depth and with more complex examples. This course is for students who feel confident in their foundational chemistry knowledge. Although not required, it is also advisable for students to have completed a year of high school physics and be ready for a calculus-level mathematics course.
